Who doesn’t love takeout food. What’s even better is when you can create your favorite take out at home. Here’s my recipe for Pork Fried Rice. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as me and my family do.

Ingredients
1 turn of olive oil
1 lb. pork for stir fry
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 ½ tablespoons garlic powder
¼ tsp. ground ginger
4 Tbs. soy sauce
2 scrambled eggs
2 boxes of prepared Asian rice
¼ cup of water
15 oz. frozen peas and carrots
Directions
- In a 5–6-quart stockpot, set the heat on medium high and add one turn of olive oil.
- Add the pork for stir fry and season with the onion powder, garlic powder and ginger.
- Cook the pork for 5 to 7 minutes until browned
- Add premade Asian rice that has been previously cooked following the package directions.
- Stir in water
- Add the scrambled eggs and stir gently
- Add soy sauce and cover the stockpot with a tight-fitting lid
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes on medium heat
- Add peas and carrots and cover the pot
- Cook for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until the peas and carrots are defrosted, stirring often so they are incorporated gently into the rice mixture.
- Serve
